Life For David Golf Marathon

This letter is composed in order to give credit to the marvelous help we received in our fundraising efforts through Pro Golf Fundraising and the owner, Chuck Jilka. We did not have the benefit of having a company infastructure of a non-profit organization. We were raising money for our son’s $7,000 per month cancer treatment which was not covered by insurance. The foundational elements of the fundraiser were put into place by Mr. Jilka, with essentially my wife and I acting as the principle workers.

Mr. Jilka was available to coach us each step of the way with genuine patience and tenderness. His interest in our cause was so authentic and actual that we felt him to be a brother in our struggle for our son David.

The Pro Golf Fundraising program also needs to be recommended for the way it does the thinking for you. The system is there, it just needs to be worked, and with the consistent guidance of Mr. Jilka, we were able to raise over $50,000 (seven month’s treatment cost)! We shouldn’t hide the fact that our gratefulness about our fundraiser’s success is directed to the God who considers the troubles of the afflicted. Mr. Jilka’s conduct was very much in sync with that character – a true angel in this regard.

Sincerely,
Michael Doherty

Recent Top Fundraiser

A group of individuals organized and developed a golf tournament for a very close friend of theirs with a severe medical impairment in September 2010. They conducted this tournament on their own and the results were 70 golfers, netting $1,900. It was a fun tournament, however it did not generate the amount of money needed for the intended purposes.

This same group of individuals contacted me to direct their fundraiser in 2011 and the overall results were 132 golfers netting over $30,000.

So, what transpired to make this difference?

We conducted the Team Leaders Training in June and these five individuals worked diligently and efficiently to produce what they termed a “very successful fundraiser” 90 days later.

The difference in these two fundraisers is extremely significant and can be attributed first to the professional fundraising approach and training of Pro Golf Fundraising. The second difference can be attributed to the new ideas and methods these men were using in organizing and developing the fundraiser. They put in about the same amount of effort during each of the fundraisers, with an amazingly higher net profit in 2011.

Pro Golf Fundraising has the experience and knowledge to help your organization raise money using the same methods as did this group!!

Contact us today and we’ll show you how easy and effective it is to develop a new fundraiser for your organization or convert your typical tournament into a golf fundraising campaign that will be a real money-maker.
