What a Great Success for our first-ever Golf Marathon! We raised over $40,000 and all we had to do was follow the concise business plan that Pro Golf wrote for us. This event has the potential to raise $75K – $100K and we look forward to that goal next year.

The Pro Golf Fundraising system needs to be recommended for the way it does the thinking for you. We raised over $63,000 our first year. The system is there, it just needs to be worked.

In our 38 year history, we have attempted many fundraisers and none have even come close to matching the $46,500 we raised with Pro Golf Fundraising.

In two years we’ve raised $117,000 for our elementary school. The Pro Golf Fundraising Program was terrific and excelled in the areas of coordination, organization, and motivation.

I highly recommend Pro Golf Fundraising in meeting your school’s vision of raising funds because there is no better way. We were able to raise over $50,000 in our first year.
– Dianne Moffat, Development Director
MOTHER LODE ADVENTIST JUNIOR ACADEMY, Sonora, CA
Our first Pro Golf Fundraising marathon raised $51,000 with 30 golfers. Comparing this with the results of our traditional golf tournament, where we raised $5,757.00 with over 60 golfers are obvious and we are fully committed to the Golf Marathon Format.

We raised $40,000 our first year and continued to raise that amount for five years consecutively. This is the easiest, most effective fundraiser our ministry has ever undertaken. I can recommend it to anyone needing to raise large amounts of $$.

TYM Reference Letter

December 19, 2008

Dear Chuck,

I want to thank you and Pro Golf Fundraising for an outstanding Golf Marathon event this past month.

You may recall that I am not easily drawn to fundraising events but the Golf Marathon format has a nice way of naturally distributing the work. For us, we had a Leadership Team of 5 that recruited over 20 golfers (17 played in the end) who reached out to over 260 households for total pledges of just under $39,000. I think that we had excellent results for a first time event and everyone involved has been pleased with the experience and the results. I am especially pleased that this type of event raised
significant dollars while simultaneously spreading the word to people we would not likely meet otherwise. I call that effective “friend-raising” AND fundraising.

A couple of other items that we appreciated:

  • Pro Golf Fundraising provides a well defined process that we could plug into
  • The online database was easy to use and it streamlined communication with golfers and donors.
  • You, Chuck, are easy to work with & flexible, available and open to sharing ideasas well as trying new ones

Finally, I think another measure of success was the number of golfers that were already talking about participating in the next event. It was fun, engaging and created a number of positive memories for everyone involved. We are trying to decide if we will take a shot at an additional Golf Marathon up in the Sacramento area where we work with kids and have a base of existing donors and volunteers. If we go for it, you’ll certainly be hearing from us.
I would be happy to have you share this letter with other organizations considering a Golf Marathon for their friendraising and fundraising efforts. Please feel free to have them contact me as well.

Blessings on you,

Barry Tonge
